They say that laughter is the best medicine. My favorite scene in Mary Poppins is when they are all on the ceiling because they can't stop laughing. Nothing chases away your worries or the blues like a good hard laugh! Here are two things that always make me laugh.
The first is a series of books called Junie B. Jones by Barbara Park. They are hilarious! My sister Tasha got me started reading them. She, my mom and I will read them out loud to each other
and sometimes I can't even see the page because my eyes are watering from laughing so hard. Junie B. is a brutally honest, precocious, loud-mouthed little girl who tells of her day-to- day adventures. The reading is elementary level so it doesn't take any brain power, just lots of carefree laughter.
The next thing is this laughter inducing video I first saw on the Ellen show. (She makes me laugh too) This is my new favorite game show! And I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do. My mom said it isn't as funny as I think it is but I will let you all be the judge. My favorite is the poor guy in the black track suit towards the end. And I love how serious they all are about it! Oh my gosh! I laughed so hard! I stay up long after Jed has fallen asleep and watch the Japanese Game show on Spike TV where they dub over it in English. You need to see that one if you haven't- they're too funny!
